Its no longer connecting to my Apple TV and I can never keep up with my Apple TV remote.

Cant set the rating of the currently playing track or add it to a playlist. Really terrible when they remove features and youre automatically updated to the latest version.

The 2FA support was finally added and now this app works again!

Too many glitches. When the remote actually works, it works wonderfully. But when youre trying to type something on apple tv (in search, for instance), the keyboard disappears and you have to either restart the app or scroll through the letters to type what you need to type. The app also disconnects from the apple tv for no reason and I literally have to delete the app and try to connect it through apple tv a dozen times before it reconnects. Such a lousy product

This app used to work great... today I tried using it again because my remote is not cooperating with me and the freaking thing wont pair.!! I know exactly how to use this app... so its not a problem on my end.. idk whats going on but Ive never been soo mad... POS app and phone that refuse to connect.!!!

With the exception of it not functioning when the phone isnt on the same wifi network (which is completely fine because thats a basic requirement for it to work; though I wish it would use Bluetooth as a fallback), this app has been working perfectly fine. The UI design could have been more thought through but no complaints so far. Works much better than Android apps I used to use on another phone.

Fix it and Ill update this review.

You totally ruined a great app after the update!! Put it back!!!!

As the title states, it was working so well, and then just lost most of its functionality. Its very disappointing, as I was really enjoying having all my music at my fingertips. Apple please, please fix this essential app! **Update** The latest update to iTunes 12.6.0.100 seems to have resolved most of my issues. Thanks Apple!

Cant select songs, albums, playlists, etc. or anything else in my iTunes library on my other Mac. Can start and stop play and control volume but all other features dont function. Do not upgrade!!! What do I do now? Anyone know how to downgrade to the previous version.

Unbelievable. I CANT BELIEVE I AM LOOKING AT SONO AS AN OPTION ! I have called every human at Apple and no one has an answer. I even sent a email to Tim Cook with no reply. Why is there No way to control apple music radio Stations with this app. What is the point of buying a $3000.00 iMac, 6 airport expresss and finding out that there is no way of changing a radio station from this remote app. Please APPLE tell me !!!! Why did you remove the capability to control Apple Music On July 2015.

It does exactly what I need it to. I have an iMac set up with studio monitors and I want to be able to control my music while multitasking around my room; this app allows me to do that. Play, pause, skip song, etc. Works fine, 5 stars.

Too bad, looks like apple has a new app for Apple TV and this one doesnt work after the last update

So, I use it now to control iTunes running on a PC. Every time the PC sits for a little while (not even sleeps) I have to exit iTunes and restart the app to gain access to the iTunes remote again. Its absolutely maddening how bad this app is, and whats even worse is that its been bad for so long - especially now that I pay Apple $180 a year for Apple Music for my family. This needs attention but apparently nobody at Apple either cares or is able to do anything about it.

Using wifi doesnt work. Both iPhone 7+ and Apple TV are on same network, everything current software. The remote doesnt connect. Weak sauce apple.

FIX this!

You should always read the reviews before you update – I cant believe how many people are still downloading this app. Apple why are you not reading these reviews?

Yet another user who loved the app until the Feb 2017 update; I now need to go to my PC to control itunes, which defeats the whole purpose of having this on my phone. FIX THIS, or I need to find another solution and delete this.

Every time I fast forward and rewind a song the app shuts down. Would be very helpful to use this in the background too.
