There should be a Apple Watch app for this app considering its made by Apple.

Whats the purpose of this app. When you cant use it. Apple can do better than this.

It works, and then it randomly stops. Been dealing with this issue for a very long time. For the sake of your loyal customers, please fix the bugs!!!

I finally got it to work by playing with the firewall settings, NOT something I am at all comfortable doing, I fought with this thing forever trying to get it to work, had to add tcp and udp ports, wouldve gotten 5 stars if not for the unruly setup and lack of instructions, the frustration factor cost 2 stars. Now it wants me to turn on home sharing, guess what it IS on, and this was working until 10 seconds ago when i tried to change volume in a zone. This is seriously disappointing. What happened to it just works, this is the most frustrating things ever, i keep apple products because i want seamless integration, seems that is a false promise. Seriously tho why cant apple pull this off? My only option it restart itunes every time this app crashes, great when im having a house party.

As previously mentioned, this version is currently malfunctioning. I have been using this app since its release. Please fix ASAP. I would like to use this to control my iTunes library at home like previously. If there is a fix or a setting I need to change please advise. IT HAS BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS. PLEASE UPDATE.

Same issue as others have mentioned. I can play a song, but just that one. I can pause it, change volume, etc. But I cant change songs. I assume this started with the latest update.

No way to forward through YouTube commercials. If they did have the reg Apple TV remote abilities they would get 5 stars.

I use this app to control my PC based high fidelity home entertainment system. Unfortunately this app has no type of Apple Music support. In order to hear a song from Apple Music, I have to add it to my library on my phones music app, then wait for it to show up on the PCs library.

Not sure what Apple did but I havent been able to get this to work anymore.

This was a great app; I used it every day to control my media server. But the Feb. 2017 update broke it, and most of its functions no longer work. Very frustrating. If they ever fix it, Ill give it the five stars it deserves; until then, dont waste your time on it.

Unlike many reviews here, the app works just fine for me. However, the only glitch I get is that if I touch the sliding song time knob; the app crashes. Not too big a deal because I dont even like fussing around with that anyways. All I use it for is playing music from my MacBook (late 2011 model) and it does that just fine.

It never connects after I already paired it. Fix this issue

You can only play local music... another disadvantage of cloud storage.

Not functional AT ALL. Doesnt pair or anything. Yes I have read every single "fix" for this-such as make sure everything is up to date-blah blah. Everything appears to be fine but it doesnt work. However two kids in my household managed to do it so easily. But for me, USELESS!

Would love if the next update supported a way to edit song names, album names, genre etc

It works for iTunes. I use home sharing and it works perfect. Set up home sharing on your iTunes and then on your phone. Boom works

Nothing but headaches. Seldom connects smoothly to my computer library, even when home sharing is turned on, it seems like a whole new set of glitches with every update. Getting help from the app does not work, just sends you to a generic apple page with no search function. This needs to be a priority for Apple if they want me to persevere with itunes & music

So it used to work but now it doesnt and i have everything up to date, cant connect with home sharing or without it (the 4 digit code). So im done.

So beyond frustrated right now. This is suppose to be an apple app and all of a sudden stopped working. I have an older Apple TV and every time I open this app it asks me to setup home sharing now. Forget the constant crashing within Apple TV itself. If this is Apples way to force you to buy their latest stuff but making their older stuff unstable then it having the opposite effect here. I used to love Apple products but now after constant frustration I am considering making the switch to something else. Come on Apple get it together.
