Disappointed

First of all, I have no issues with the app and how it works, I really cant complain. I would like to see certain things included in the next update however. - The ability to add playing songs to playlists. - The love button. - Cover flow

Love this app, been using it for a long time and the only thing it lacks is Homekit and/or Siri support. Would be nice if it were more functional on Apple Watch, too, but for now adding Siri Voice control would really do the trick.

I downloaded this app after switching over to Apple Music from Spotify (what can I say, Apple knows how to sell associated services). I wanted to be able to easily control my iTunes on my PC from watch/phone like I could on Spotify. Its frustrating that I need to install a secondary app just to gain this feature, and its even worse that the app rarely seems to work from my Apple Watch and only works occasionally from my phone. Considering going back to Spotify until Apple smooths over these kinks.

Using wired connections this is the best sounding music stream. Wifi streams flatten out the music making it sound empty and without the punch it should have. By wiring the connections with my Ethernet network, the sound comes alive and I dont have any dropouts or lost connections. This is the best and most underrated app out there.

In recent release 80% of the time the app will not switch playlists. Seems to work fine on the iPad version but very poorly when using on the iPhone. Issue seems to only be on changing playlists. All other features work.

I stopped trying to make it work. Do not use it, it will make you feel angry. You are just waisting your time.

This is a huge improvement over the original. I cannot give it 5 stars, however, because there is still plenty of room for improvement. It takes a LONG time for the cover art to display. Being able to view the albums by artist would be nice. Ironically, the songs are listed by artist and not alphabetically. Flexibility in these views would be great. Coverflow would also be great. I dont want to belittle this improvement, however. This update is very welcome. UPDATE: I was optimistic then. Now its a sick joke. Its been six years, and things have only gotten worse. A long time for album art has now turned to not at all. The albums dont list the artists either, which makes Remote next to worthless for large music collections. Apple should just pull it and open the door for other developers.

Works great. Connected to iTunes on my Mac in a matter of seconds and is very responsive

I feel like this can look and feel like iTunes, and be more synonymous with my other music experiences on Apple.

Ive been using this app for about a 2 years & I have only actually gotten to use it a handful of times because half the time I open it says I have to turn on home sharing (which is on) & after I double check everything it still doesnt work.

All I can say is dont bother with it. Its terrible. One of the most frustrating apps on iTunes. If it wasnt from Apple theyd remove it from the App Store. Regularly fails to connect and is impossible to re-pair. Do what you want but dont say you havent been warned. It is rated 2 stars for a reason. And anyone rating it MORE than 2 stars either works for Apple or wrote the App. Personally Id give it minus 5 stars if there was such a rating. JUST TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!?

Restarted my Apple TV 4 and the Remote app. They wont pair.

As previously mentioned, this version is currently malfunctioning. I have been using this app since its release. Please fix ASAP. I would like to use this to control my iTunes library at home as I had previously. If there is a fix or a setting I need to change please advise. IT HAS BEEN OVER 4 MONTHS. PLEASE UPDATE.

Not sure what happened but this app worked fine for me until yesterday. I deleted the app and downloaded it again. Basically what happens is it says it cannot connect to my library. Fine, lets go to settings and add an iTunes library since it says mine wont connect (which shows up btw). I go to enter in the code displayed on my phone and each time Im told it is incorrect. This happened 3 times with 3 different codes until I gave up and came here to leave a review that this app is completely useless now.

The Apple TV doesnt show up, or appears grayed out 99% of the time. Completed several troubleshooting exercises. Useless until fixed

Really crummy. Nothing "just works" anymore. Cant sync with iTunes, help is worthless. Says click on non existent icon. Be nice for the community to tell me how to make the icon appear since apple wont do it. Apple is turning into garbage. Worse than Microsoft by far.

Can see one of my (old) Apple TVs, but not another one. Its frustrating.

Id gotten used to deleting this app periodically when it just stopped working, but now it wont connect to tv at all, only music. As usual, Apple support is useless. This company has become one bad joke after another.
