Why cant you use this to select the music in the ITunes anymore? That was the best part of the app. My partner and i actually used this for an event we had that gave customers the ability to select "songs" ( not the actual MP3s but music in the list) to signal the live band at the restaurant to play songs that the audience requested. Thats not longer available due to this update very diappointed. Any way to revert back?

It seems every time theres an update, this app has a new set of chaotic issues requiring me to continuously restart my system, reconfigure sharing or just swear softly under my breath. Ive been grateful over the past few months, though, because for the first time ever, the Remote app has worked nearly flawlessly. With the most recent update however, all my AirPlay speakers drop and then fail to be recognized--not in iTunes, only in this app. Rebooting the app doesnt work, nor does rebooting devices. I have to either play music directly via iTunes or reboot my Mac to get the Remote app to once again play nice. Please, please, Apple...cant you QA multiple use cases before botching things up by tossing out a new release? Were all depending on the integration of our iOS and Mac stuff.

Will no longer work with my AppleTV after latest update. Remember when Apple use to care about quality......

new update is disastrously bad. Doesnt work anymore. I cant use my Apple TV.

As previously mentioned, this version is currently malfunctioning. I have been using this app since its release. Please fix ASAP. I would like to use this to control my iTunes library at home like previously. If there is a fix or a setting I need to change please advise.

Unbelievable. I CANT BELIEVE I AM LOOKING AT SONO AS AN OPTION ! I have called every human at Apple and no one has an answer. I even sent a email to Tim Cook and no reply. I HAVE LEARNED THAT APPLE KNOWS HOW TO COVER UP AND LIE TO THERE CUSTOMER WHEN THE MAKE A MISTAKE. What is the point of paying for apple music and setting up multiple airport express. Please APPLE tell me !!!! I have been waiting since july2015. No way to control apple music.

The application is designed to manage music on my mac, but it does not know how to do it

After the latest update of this app is crashing every time Im trying to fast forward a song. There is also a long standing issue with rating a song: I have to wait sometimes for a couple of minutes before Im able to see the rating. It also disconnects very quickly after only a couple of minutes when I exit the app and then reopen it.

How on earth did Apple ruin their own app? It will not even connect to any of my Apple TVs now. Good thing I still have my original remote.

The latest update is broken. It does not work with my older Apple TV. I can register it but then nothing happens. I wish I could go back to the older version where I could use voice control for searches.

Please fix this app

This is one of those little things that is really great when it works, unfortunately it seems prone to disabling network errors. Unlike a physical remote its unreliable.

An endless loop of "Turn on Home Sharing" when its already turned on! A frustrating waste of time. DO NOT BOTHER!

No compatibility with Apple Music. A shame.

Not perfect yet better than Apple TV Remote

I dont know if it was an update or something but the app can no longer swipe left or right. The only thing on all devices I have this installed on is press which is terrible because it was a great app.

Still cant use it with the 1/3 split screen. Seems to have been abandoned lacking such obvious functionality.

It used to work great with Apple TV, now if you switch apps, or wake the phone from sleep, it just flashes uncontrollably. It makes no difference if you close the app first. A phone restart is the only way to fix it. Its a real pita to do this repeatedly. Junk.
