It tells me where to go in my Apple TV to connect, but then the Apple TV doesnt connect. Tried it on Ipad-2 and Iphone-6. Apple TV finds my BT audio devices but not the I-devices. Well played Apple, jokes on us.

I just need a remote so I can watch Game of Thrones I cant find mine!

was working fine on Apple TV , and now despite some reinstalling and other troubleshooting I cant connect anymore :(

The app does not pair with iTunes

The app WAS great! The kids in our lives would lose the remote, so this was perfect. Have been using this remote for the past 4 years with NO problems... Now suddenly a few months ago it started to go wonky. Now, it doesnt work at all. We constantly have to close the app and reopen it hoping that it will work. It doesnt respond to your controls unless it is closed and reopened. Now, today it wont let us go up or down, side to side, nothing!! Just lets us press menu and enter basically. This app is now USELESS!!!! I loved it before but sadly, this is a piece of crap.

It would complete my experience. If I could perma delete songs. Sometimes shuffling thru hundreds of songs from downloaded playlists. I go thru tons of crap songs and would like to delete it without getting up. = ) - fatty

It has one job and it cant do it.

This app has so many bugs I dont even know where to start!! You would also be better off buying a new remote than trying to use this piece of crap! Once youve opened and used the app, click off then try to come back to the app, its jumps back and forth between the remote menu and song board! EVERY TIME! I have to close the app out completely and restart. So inconvenient. Its is constantly losing connection to Apple TV, and make me go through the process of setting up home sharing and the phone to the device! Which still doesnt work, so I end up having to delete and reinstall the app! Its such a nightmare that I ended up just paying to get a new remote off of eBay! Just buy the real remote and save yourself from extreme frustration and wasting your time constantly trying to get this stupid thing to work! Literally youll spend more time trying to make it work than browsing thru the movies and shows!

Itd be nice if Apple actually tried using it for any amount of time other than testing. Theyd find the app fails to connect frequently after just using the stupid thing. The. You need to kill the app to getting to work again. Totally frustrating.

I used to use this app religiously... now it barely functions. When is Apple going to fix this?!?! This non working app is so bad that Im actually writing my first ever review out of complete frustration.

it would be great if it was possible to access the key functionalities from control center or at least from the notification center so i wont have to unlock my phone and open the remote app. some things are missing. the app doesnt fallow the desktop iTunes precisely in features.

Disappointing. It was just able to share the music in my computer to my phone...oohh eee!! Big deal.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not work. You cannot depend on it. Even during the time of watching one movie, it will lose connectivity several times, requiring you to power cycle the Apple TV. It needs a lot of work.

it goes out of control

I only bought the new Apple TV so I could play Apple Music (doesnt work on 3rd gen) from my backyard using the app remote but now I am being told the remote app does not have the same functionality it did for Apple TV 3. Back to the store it goes. Very disappointed the remote app is now just a blank scratch pad.

And it never does.... Useless

Sometimes connects and sometimes takes days before it feels like connecting again no matter what I do...

Think about that for a second…iPhone TV Remote...Seriously...How cool could that be!? Well…It’s not…at all.

This app always disconnects and I am searching for another solution. This is such an easy thing ... Why cant it just work.
