Im writing in regards to this app to let you know it is a waste of time and a bunch of BS they update the iOS and all the other things but not the software is supporting it including this one Ive connected it more than once trying to at least Use home share not even let me connect it freezes when I try to use home share but every time I try to also connect with the four digit code it does not even connect you will be driving yourself nuts trying to figure this out do not waste your time on this app just control it directly from the computer or from the source you are playing the music from happy listening.

I had a bunch of music but for some reason my music doesnt work like it use to. And I tried re-downloading them but it said "this song isnt available in the U.S. It makes me mad how its like this now.

you pay a monthly fee for apple Radio yet this app does not allow you to control the Radio station feature in itunes. apple must only want you to use Remote to control the music you buy off them.

If youre looking for that little remote button on the "top left corner of your iTunes screen" youre never going to find it. Just give up and never download this app again.

I thought I was a pretty smart guy until I got this app. I cant make it work. I must be stupid. No stars.

This app was great when around wifi, however being a DJ that does a lot of routines on cruise ships and weddings, this app was pointless for me because it cannot work over my mobile hot spot like other remote apps. It would help greatly for me to be on the dance floor and be able to shift music during games and ice breakers using my iphone and being able to shift through my set playlists while being able to see how much time is remaining on songs as i shift through routines. Please adapt to be able to function with my mobile hot spot connected to my laptop and phone.

If only I could rate negative 20 stars for how crappy this remote is. Even after deleting and reinstalling a billion times, it still wont work. My actual apple remote likes to grow legs and go for long walks so being able to use my phone would be a dream come true.

In case this app isnt being completely left to die, please plesae PLEASE add airplay control (with volume controls!!!) for the Apple TV. Not sure why it wasnt there from day one. We can switch Airplay sources for iTunes playback but not when controlling playback through the Apple TV. Why not? Apple is really missing an opportunity with Apple TV and this app - it could be a true digital hub with just a little attention. I hope this app will continue to be developed with Apple TV support because the Apple TV Remote app is terrible - you cant even control music playback without switching on your television!

Used to be 5 stars but... When Apple updated this app with iOS 10, it lost functionality. It works on my old Apple TV, doesnt even recognize my newest generation Apple TV. I downloaded "Apple TV remote, it recognizes my newest Apple TV, but wont turn it on. Please take these two apps back to the drawing board.

Keeping saying this app is unavailable. No way to download it.

Dont know if its the new iOS 10 update but the remote doesnt work any more. Wont even connect. Once you touch the Apple TV it loads but wont go to the remote. And the iOS 10 update wont even connect to airplay

This app is perfect if you loose your APPLE TV remote. I say Apple TV in all caps because some people think its for normal TV. There is probably one out there for normal TV. But this app is easy to use, and way easier to find then the Apple TV Remote! Thanks for reading! Please get this app!!!

Wonderful app excellent to use for Apple TV I like the ability to use keyboard to search and with any language installed on the iPad or iPhone...most of the negative comments because they dont know how to use it.

This app badly needs an update. I just spent half an hour getting errors trying to sign in until I realized that I needed to turn off two-step verification. Frustrating.

Hardly ever connects to Apple TV.

Dont know why its got such low rating. Works perfectly fine. One or two small bugs where it shows the previous album art on the next song, but it soon fixes itself. App works great.

Its hit or miss with this app. The home sharing screen pops up randomly and wont let me use it even though nothing has changed in my setup or settings. Its rather annoying. But when it does work, its nice.

I used to use this app to control my Apple TV, but suddenly a new Apple TV Remote app comes out & this one suddenly starts having issues... hmm... I even tried using the other app & it doesnt work half the time either! So, back to this one which will no longer connect to my Apple TV AT ALL. It tells me to turn on home sharing on the Apple TV. It is on & it tells me to turn on home sharing on the iPhone. Yup, thats turned on too. So, still nothing. Never nothing. Im just gonna go back to constantly losing my real remote.

Even after the 9/15/16 update, Trying to send a TV Show from my computers hard drive (not internet streaming, I have not tried that) to my Apple TV via the app causes iTunes on my iMac to "Quit Unexpectedly". This makes this app absolutely useless to me as I got it in the first place because my computer is in my room and my Apple TV in the living room. This is horribly inconvenient, please fix ASAP! I click Send Report To Apple every time, so there must be recorded data of this problem somewhere.

This app forces itself to appear on the home screen. Its a bug.
