Does not work! Such a Joke!

What pisses me off about this the most is that it used to work perfectly fine before the iTunes 12 updates. I cannot understand how Apple can go literally YEARS without fixing issues with pairing the Remote App.
This is an app that the company has classified as an "Essential" for all users, yet its impossible to pair through home sharing.
Save yourself the frustration and dont waste your time.
