Does not work with 2-factor Authentication

Just set up 2-factor authentication for my Apple ID. Works with everything smoothly except for this app made by Apple. This needs to be fixed quickly. Cant believe that I cant set up home sharing on this app while Im trying to be secure as well. Tried creating an app password and that didnt work either. Kind of ridiculous.
