Use to work.... Now its dead

The app WAS great! The kids in our lives would lose the remote, so this was perfect. Have been using this remote for the past 4 years with NO problems... Now suddenly a few months ago it started to go wonky. Now, it doesnt work at all. We constantly have to close the app and reopen it hoping that it will work. It doesnt respond to your controls unless it is closed and reopened. Now, today it wont let us go up or down, side to side, nothing!! Just lets us press menu and enter basically. This app is now USELESS!!!! I loved it before but sadly, this is a piece of crap.
