Inconsistent

I have had this app on my iPhone and iPads for over 3-4 years. It has consistently been inconsistent in working. It seems as if every time there is an update it drops all my Apple TVs (I have 4 in my home) and I have to always go reset the home sharing and start all over again. And most times even that doesnt work. For years I just chalked it up to a glitch or oversight in the update process but I have finally gotten sick and tired of it. It is so time consuming to have to go to 4 Apple TVs and redo this what seems like every 3-6 months, if that. I have 5 iPads and my lady and Is iPhones and I have to reset the remote app on all of them every time. All of my original remotes I keep tucked away in drawers not to have 5 remotes laid out in every room, usually just one (my direct tv remote). It is of the utmost convenience to be able to use the Apple TV remote App but it seems as this is one of the most difficult things Apple cant seem to get right for the life of them. The interface of the remote app is great, especially the ease of access to my iTunes music catalogue, especially when Im entertaining guests, but 9 out of 10 times the app doesnt work, it keeps saying turn on home sharing. My home sharing is on at all times as I am an audiophile. After all these inconsistencies I usually just stream via AirPlay or use YouTube via my smart tv because Apple has yet to get it right consistently. Greatly considering not renewing my iTunes Match subscription because I cant half use the Apple TV remote App!
